Sculpture

Yvette  creates sculptures out of a variety of materials including clay, metal, recycled materials, found objects, and stained glass. Her education and employment background (before art) is in ecology, and all of her pieces are organic and nature-inspired. Re-purposing materials is a passion of hers, and you can see it in her artwork - retired shovels, pans, metal pails, wine corks, driftwood, stones and other metal and glass scrap materials are commonly used. She enjoys adding beauty to outdoor spaces,  so the majority of her pieces are designed to handle the outdoor elements, although they can also be displayed indoors.
