Printmaking

Maggie Smith has worked in various art forms, including a long career as an author and illustrator of children’s books, and more recently, painting with acrylics on canvas, and printmaking using a mixed media approach. Whatever the media, her work is inspired by her deep love of animals, plants and trees, as well as her enthusiasm for color, pattern and texture. Having grown up in Harvard but living away since high school, she returned in 2017 with her partner Peter Clarke, also an artist, and their cats, to live in her childhood home.
